Genuine feathers, furs, bones, leather, beads, stone, wood, etc. are used in the fabrication of each piece. Nothing artificial unless required by law. No animal parts (bones, feathers, etc. are from endangered species). Feathers are from Wild Turkeys.

Native American Pine Flute with Seven Different Totems

Native American flutes are instruments of music, ceremony, entertainment, courtship and love. Some Navajo medicine men say a girl will find irresistible the boy who plays the flute for her. Most traditional Navajo flutes were made of unflower stalk, but today the flutes are evolving into a medium of artistic expression that uses a variety of materials. This is a simple pine flute and is handmade by Jonah Thompson. His initials are on each flute. Key of A. It is a sample of Native American instruments and the diversity of Navajo culture. Available in any of seven totems. Length is 18". Available in three finishes. Cherry, Walnut, Pine. Stand not included.
Price includes the booklet, "Navajo Flutes." This little booklet was written by Jonah and his family. It is a nice introduction to the Native American flute. The booklet has some of Jonah's personal history, some Navajo history, a section on care for your flute and includes tips on learning to play as well as several songs.

These cedar flutes are tuned to F# (E Minor is available by special order) and are handmade by Jonah Thompson. It is a sample of Native American instruments and the diversity of Navajo culture. Native American Cherokee Made Painted Buffalo Drum

This wonderful drum was handcrafted in with a 2.5" wide piece of wood turned into an 18" round. This spectacular drum is painted with a Medicine Wheel and Four Healing Hands. The back of the drum has a leather wrapped rawhide handle that makes using the drum very comfortable. Complete with beater and Certificate of Authenticity and Care. 18 in. diameter x 2.5 in. deep.

We are honored to have single-sided hand drums that were created from either Buffalo or Elk by Navajo drum maker Paul Tohlakai. These are beautifully made drums with a unique tie-down system and an antler hand grip for comfort when using this drum. These drums are as beautiful to look at and hold as they are to play. Each drum is signed by the artist and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a beater.
