Cherokee Made Elk Leg Turtle Rattle

This wonderful rattle with an elk leg bone handle would be carried by the dancer during ceremonies, traditionally in the right hand. The turtle shell represents longevity, the elk leg swiftness, and the fur, warmth. Each shell is wrapped with rawhide and each rattle will vary in size and color of shell and fur. Certificate of Authenticity is included.
